Hi lovelies,

I am pepped up and ready for Spring. This winter has been easy on the east coast but that hasn’t stopped me from complaining about the bone chilling weather on certain days. Once again pastels are going to be all the rave this Spring. Lucky for me with this constant hair coloring the only color that works well for me are pastels and I have enough blush pink my wardrobe to last me for days. Blush Pink is a color you can’t go wrong with no matter what your complexion is – It isn’t too bright and too girlie. I feel it almost has a sophisticated feminine appeal to it whereas bright pink can be very in your face or barbie like.

I am planning to start styling folks for fun. I have had tons of friends ask me to come shopping with them to help them pick out clothes and it got me thinking hey I love clothes and dressing people, so then why not help people style themselves? Seeing happy smiley faces when people feel comfortable in their own skin, lifts my spirits.

Being married to a photographer – I get to attend a few shoots pretty often and this day we had an indoor shoot planned. I knew although it was going to be frigid cold outside, I was going to remain indoors. Hence I decided to pull out my fave mini skirt and matching sneakers. I saw these sneakers on the adidas website first but before I could snag them they were sold out in my size to my dismay. Luckily around my birthday we were able to find them on another sports wear website and my husband was sweet enough to order them behind my back before I could order them myself. They are definitely very comfortable and given they are blush pink, grey and mint green they now match majority of my closet.

The hope for the coming spring weather has given me the motivation I needed to push myself from the deep depths of gloom. I am still healing my injuries – the pain is manageable but we are still trying to figure out what triggers it. It has almost 2 years of not knowing what is going on within my own body but we continue to push. And ofcourse you as my readers have always kept me focused and pushing. As promised earlier this year I will be adding more sections and posts on motivation and living with Chronic pain and illness. For now enjoy my newly colored hair and pastel outfit.

Until next time sweethearts!
