Hi Lovelies,
Versatility is a woman’s best friend. I am a big fan of always saying: You can be anyone you want to be, based on how you dress. Wear leather and you feel strong and badass. Wear a pencil skirt and you are powerful and sleek or for example here  in this post you can be stylish, comfortable and playful.
I grew up in Middle East as a kid and Adidas was a part of our school uniform. We were supposed to wear Adidas sneakers everyday. But moving around to Europe and then US and my style going girlie from a tomboy – I barely owned anything from the brand. Till I found the Adidas store at the mall and noticed how stylish, girlie and comfortable alot of their clothing was. It slowly started an obsession where now I own 11 pairs of NMD sneakers and tons of Adidas clothing in my wardrobe. I like to mix and match my sporty clothes with everyday women’s clothing to make them stand out. I understand living in active wear might not be your cup of tea 🙂
This post right here is a prime example of how you can take a long women’s hoodie which might not really workout as a dress (cough cough too curvy) and add a mini underneath it. You can tuck the hoodie in the skirt, for a more sleeker look with a clean profile or you can let the skirt peek through. You can even give the hoodie a cropped look by rolling it up. I styled it all three ways for your eyes to feast on.
You don’t have to sacrifice your style when incorporating comfy or active wear clothes in your wardrobe. Wearing sneakers doesnt mean you are going to be stuck with shorts or jeans. Sometimes making odd items that most people won’t pair together makes for an outfit that lets you stand out in the crowd…in a good way! haha not in “mmm what was she thinking” way. Also you can always throw in some color on a monochromatic outfit by adding bright sneakers! Surprise people! Life is too dull and boring – add some fun to it with your outfit.
Until next time 🙂
